The Power Of Promises
Each promise kept is a step towards becoming the person we aspire to be, and in doing so, we inspire others to chase their dreams and fulfill their promises.
A few days back, I was watching Casey Neistat's video, "This is the End," in which he talks about always trying to realize all the promises he made to himself as a younger self.
I, too, did that, and I am sure you also did.
I promised myself I would stay fit, be a good photographer, read good literature, tell good stories, travel to places, and what not. Some of these were aspirations and others were career goals.
But reading the comments on the video gave me a whole new perspective.
- That studio inspired me to have my own. Thanks, Casey - It is strange that I should feel sad for a man that I haven't ever met, leaving a city which I haven't ever visited. - Thanks for the inspiration, Casey. You've really inspired me to make a difference and do more than just a normal life. - Really inspires me to just keep creating short films at any level as much as I can on my channel. Thank you for being you Casey. *And a lot more...
By keeping his promises and sharing his journey, Casey not only achieved personal success but also ignited a spark of inspiration in an entire generation.
Fulfilling the promises we make to ourselves isn't just about personal satisfaction - it's also about creating ripples of inspiration that can change the world. Each promise kept is a step towards becoming the person we aspire to be, and in doing so, we inspire others to chase their dreams and fulfill their promises.
Let's keep these promises, not only for ourselves but for those who look up to us. Let's build a world where dreams become reality.
Shouting out conversations with ourselves, like you do, can be fruitful for others. Keep consuming such good content and keep on talking out loud in your mind about it. There are always listeners out there like me!
